6/1/12 - The Cooler Kings do Pink Floyd!!! - New track added to Cooler Kings page in 'My Bands'. Recorded during sessions April/May 2011.

New CD with Ian McDougall is finished, I'll upload some mp3 samples soon.

New session with Peppino Adamo uploaded - 'Hold Me' (rough mix)

13/4/09 - Interesting gig at the Wishing Well on Saturday. I took a guitar I'd just customised but forgot to solder the bloody electrics back together so it didn't actually work!!! Thank God Trev lives ten minutes away and rushed home to get his soldering iron, so after a bit of huffing and puffing all was well. Thanx to everyone who clapped - next stop is the Bay Horse in Horwich on 25th April - see you there!

4/4/09 - Just starting some more session work for Peppino Adamo from Italy, I'll upload the finished track just as soon as it's, er, finished...

11/2/09 - Lots more gigs on the gigs page, Poppy rocks like a muther f***er, the TLBB album nears completion and The Cooler Kings are getting ready to do some "live" studio recordings. I'm in the middle of writing and recording new stuff and life is good.

16/12/08 - The Cooler Kings did our last gig of 2008 at the George in Darwen and what a great gig it was. Thankyou to all the people who supported the band in 2008 and we look forward to seeing you all next year. As for me, still working hard writing and recording songs for a new TLBB cd with Rob and always churning out blues songs for another blues cd. My new Strat ("Poppy" - so named because she wore a remembrance day poppy on her headstock for weeks), is shaping up nicely and has been gigged several times already. Happy Christmas and a peaceful new year to all... oh yeah, did I say thankyou....thankyou :o)

23/11/08 - No news as such, busy gigging and recording and just got a new guitar :o) Gigs for 2009 are filling up with a good few more on the way, check the gigs page to find out where and when. Thanx for your ongoing support and all the lovely things you say about me and the boys, it's appreciated. One more gig in 2009 at The George in Darwen,if you can get there that would be nice.

18/9/08 - A couple if live tracks added to the Cooler Kings Page (in 'My Bands') recorded on 13/9/08.

1/9/08 - Recording is going well for my projects with Robert Brown for the new Lewis Brothers CD and with Ian McDougall for our follow up to the "Testing The Water" CD. The Cooler Kings are busy playing gigs most weekends all over the north west of England...if you get the chance, come along and watch us play. I will update the "My Songs" section soon with a few more goodies...

22/6/08 - Great gig at the Stanley Club in Accrington Lancashire last night, we (The Cooler Kings) had a ball - thanx to everone who clapped and cheered.

1/6/08 - Recording started for new album with Ian McDougall. Mainly covers but one or two original numbers...

25/5/08 - Spent the day recording with Robert Brown for the new T.L.B.B album. The new track "Back To The Party" can be found on the 'My Songs'page.

20/5/08 - New gigs added, 2008 is looking to be a very busy year for the Cooler Kings!!!

7/5/08 - Welcome Ian McDougall. New section on my sessions page. A couple of tracks from an album we did in 2004 - juss for da CRACK!!!

4/5/08 - New tracks uploaded for both band (Skye) and sessions (David Procter) pages. Yet more gigs coming in...
